Hi folks! I'm Palastine, the retard standing on my right is Israel and I hate him.

Mom loves Israel more than me. She feeds him with sugar while stuffing me with thin air. We quarrel almost every single day for territory rights in our shelve but Mom always throw me into the back of Soy Sauce whenever Israel complaints to her.

But we learn how to live with it. We don't fight and we don't push each other down the shelve because we know we are part of the Kitchen. The kitchen needs us and we need the Kitchen.

Therefore, we learn to accommodate one another for the sake of the Kitchen.

A Word from Dr. Mahathir Mohamad

The former premier of the Bolehland had commented on the United States not long ago at his blog. This is part of what he said, in which, I think it's quite or partially true.

3. It had condemned the Internal Security Act as unjust and a violation of human rights. Following the shock and awe invasion of Iraq, it has detained alleged terrorists without trial and without rights and habeas corpus proceeings. Some detainees have been there for five years.

4. Then in Abu Ghraib detention camp detainees have been tortured and humiliated. They were treated like animals. If it had happened in some weak Asian country, the US would demand for all kinds of punishment which the US is ever ready to inflict. But no one can drag Americans to court and punish them. If at all American courts would try these miscreants and the punishment would be very light.

True true. But still, ISA is NOT right for Malaysia today and detaining a blogger under ISA is even-more-not-right (I know it's very bad English, but sorry lah, my Engrand no good).

6. When as a result of the so-called trade in currencies the companies in the poor countries faced bankruptcy, the Governments were told not to bail out any company or bank which was in deep trouble. The Americans claimed that these companies or banks were inefficient and they should be allowed to go bankrupt and perish. Better still they should be sold at fire-sale price to American investors.

7. Yet today we see the US Government readying US700 billion to brazenly bail out banks, mortgage companies and insurance companies.

8. Where does the money come from? From thin air as no real money in cash or bullion or anything tangible are moved into the bankrupt banks. The money is just in the form of loan papers and entries in the books of the banks or companies.

LOL! I love point 7 - Americans are slapping their face hard this time.

11. In the final spasm of fear, the Government has given itself the right to resolve the problem of bankrupt banks and companies by the Government taking over i.e. the great capitalist country has accepted what is nothing more than nationalisation which it had condemned so much before.

Another big-tight-slap. AUCH

12. The US now owes the world US 14 trillion. There is no way it can ever settle this debt. If other countries fail to repay or service their debts, the US would demand that they be made bankrupt. Now the US is literally bankrupt but it still insists that the pieces of paper, the famous or infamous greenbacks have some value. It actually has no value. Certainly it cannot be used to finance wars of aggression against Iraq and Afghanistan, to finance the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) activities in undermining Governments and countries. But still the US' ability to threaten countries is undiminished.

They were slapped really hard this time.

Merdeka?

Today is Malaysia 52nd 51st Independence Day - Merdeka to all fellow Malaysians.

How did I celebrated it? Went for a school trip at Jurong Island. (Actually, I almost forgotten about this matter until I read my friends' blog, shame!!)

They Warn Us and We Blast Them Back

Remember how humorous Bolehland's Dato Seri Syed Hamid Albar was in the HardTalk program broadcasted on Thursday 13 September 2007? If you've missed that out, you can check it out here. Everyone was saying how good our Dato's Engrish is back then. (his English is still very good now, that's why I use present tense - my Engrend no good)

OK, back to topic, Annuar Ibrahim was accused for sodomizing one of his young mail aide not long ago and based on this news, I believe the States are questioning about how the government is handling the case. Check the news here.

Malaysia has reportedly blasted the United States for questioning its handling of sex accusations against opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim and said he was a "snitch" for America.

The United States said Monday it would oppose any politically motivated investigation or prosecution of Anwar...

..."America should not interfere with a (legal) exercise in our jurisdiction...," said Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar.

"American has always tried to warn small states like us, but we have never been threatened or felt threatened," he said...

...Syed Hamid also attacked Anwar's allegiances, reviving old allegations that he is too close to Washington. "Anwar is a snitch for America. Every time anything happens, he reports back to America," he said...

They've surely entertained us well. Good job but whatever it is, I'm getting tired of all these jokes.

But anyway, we're not afraid of the Whites because we've been fighting the them for more than 200 years since Portuguese colony. Back then, knowing that we were surely dead, we still fought the Portuguese with our own freaking bare hands, parang and spears while they were holding guns and cannons. They threw us cannon balls and bullets, we fought back by throwing bull dungs and chicken shits! We took all measures to protect our dearest homeland. =) Hooray to the Malays who fought 200 years ago. We were so brave.

Note: "we" in this context means the Malay race because Chinese weren't local at that time (it's like, you won't risk your life for OTHER people's homeland, right?) - that's what the Malaysia History text book says

Oh however, when the video of police abusing and forcing Chinese prostitutes to squat-and-stand-while-pulling-their-ears in nude got exposed, we sent our delegates and ministers to China immediately, to apologize, to kowtow, even without Beijing saying a word. I was so impressed - for the first time the government was sooooo efficient.

Don't Mess up with the Aunties

Recall my previous post on Messing up with the Sultan, PAS protested against the move of inviting Ella and Mas to perform at Selangor Club because it will promote social ills.

Will crime rate be reduced when a country is governed absolutely by strict rules or religion? - I don't know, but apparently, it seems no.

Ironically, countries like Japan where you can get unisex common bathroom, porn at your fingertip, high school girls' underwear at sales, crazy Heavy Metal bands, some-cool-some-fugly Harajuku fashion, etc. have the lowest crime rate while places like you-know-what-countries occupied by you-know-what-kind-of-people are protesting on the street for some stupid reasons, fighting in the name of you-know-Who, bombing themselves for nothing, in absolute total mess instead of working and earning for a living.

Mas, I'll back your arse up! Good job and thumbs up for you!

NEP

Does NEP do more harm than good? This is what I think...

1. Say you are the indigenous race of a piece of land and a group of foreign race come to your land: 3 possibilities (they could be more, but this isn't a political blog)
   
   • The foreign race is far too powerful. The indigenous race is wiped off from the land - like the Red Indians in North America.
     
   • The foreign race is rich but outnumbered. The foreign race could be cleansed or mistreated in the end - like the Chinese in Indonesia.
     
   • The foreign race is poor and outnumbered. The foreign race will be enslaved - Blacks in the old America era.
     
     
2. The second point was what happened in Malaysia in May 13, 1969. Chinese were averagely richer and they couldn't keep their mouth shut. Thus, many were killed.
   Who is right? Who is wrong? Judge it yourself.
   
   
3. So, NEP were created to help the indigenous while suppress others.
   Well, I would say NEP were absolutely needed to unite the country again back at that time.
   
   
4. 50 years later today, they claim that Chinese still dominates Malaysia's economy.
   
   I ain't sure how true it is but if it is indeed true,
   

   Is it because the being-helped were so spoon fed?
   Or the ignored were more hardworking than ever?
   Or the wealth is being channeled to a certain group of people?
   

Whatever it is, I believe education is the key solution to poverty.

Give Man a fish and He'll survive for a day
Teach Him to fish and He'll be independent.

This way, there will not be mismanagement of funds and corruptions while the indigenous will be as competitive at the same time. Killing two birds with one stone. =)

Hence, I think NEP will do more harm than good (Of course, there are more reasons than this, but why bother to write a professional debate in a personal blog?) since it's not the ultimate solution that solves the root of the problem. However, I think NEP will remain effective in Malaysia for a long time to come since removing NEP = political suicide.

Do You Feel Discriminated?

I had a conversation with a psychologist (Don't get me wrong, I ain't psycho!) not long when I carpooled her car to MRT station after a meeting. She asked,

As a Chinese living in Malaysia, do you feel discriminated at times?

And here's what I replied,

Politically - yes; individually - not really.

Undeniably, Chinese and Indian are officially discriminated in many aspects (such as NEP) but we're still living harmoniously together as individuals. I went to visit my fellow Malay and Indian friends' houses during their Hari Raya and Deepavali; and they visited us during Chinese New Year - and that is beautiful. Don't you think so? Malaysia is unique, peaceful (still) and lovely (still).
